Spring has arrived and we are making the most of the Spring flowers that are currently available to purchase from the flower markets here in Britain and through the Dutch auctions.
This week, we are exploring the amazing new blooms (or pre-existing blooms that are back in) at the flower auctions, and trust me, there are some beauties in the mix this month!
ARALIA IRON MAN
Find me here in the Seasonal Flowers Category
LEUCANTHEMUM VULG WHITE
Find me here in the Seasonal Flowers Category. If you are looking to create a country garden or rustic themed event, this flower is the perfect addition for a large daisy. Paired with smaller daisies, tanacetum single vegmo or victory enkel to complete the look.
Find me here in the Seasonal Flowers Category. Otherwise known as snowbells, these are a seasonal flower with narrowly strap-shaped leaves and umbels of bell-shaped white.
SUNFLOWERS SUNRICH ORANGE
Find me here in the Seasonal Flowers Category.
ROSE SPRAY ANTIQUA
Find me here in the Rose category. Looking to surprise or treat that one friend, partner or colleague called Olivia? Trust me it works a treat! Here’s your chance to add that personal touch and thought into your gift!
Just type your name into the search bar and see if a flower is named after you. For Laura, there is a Hydrangea Fabulous Laura, Aster and Phlox named after me, of course (or that’s what I like to think!)
ANEMONE MARIANNE ORCHID
Find me here in the Anemones Category. You can also find me in lots of other colours, from white, blue/purple to bi-coloured tones. Take advantage of this flower whilst the bloom is still available on the flower market. Trust me, it won’t be long until Anemones are gone for another year – typically ends towards the end of April to May.
Find me here in the Greenery weighted bunches category. Very different to the usual Eucalyptus, this particular variety is vibrant in colour, berried and trailing. Take advantage whilst it is available for your floral designs.
Find me here in the Greenery weighted bunches category. This beautiful mixed colour foliage with berries is perfect to add to bohemian styles to add texture and character to the overall look. It would also work well in an autumnal styled event.
I’ve only touched the surface with the new varieties and pre-existing ones that are now back on the flower market, but I hope you gained an insight this week into the fabulous blooms and foliage that you can purchase this April for an event, special occasion (gift, birthday, christening etc) or wedding.
