Say Good Bye to Peonies for Another Year! Peony Wedding Flowers

This yCoral Charmear Peonies have been a big favourite for wedding flowers. We all know that Vintage Wedding Flowers have been all the rage this year with peonies taking center stage. Pale pink Sarah Bernhardt was again the most popular closely followed by other varieties such as Shirly Temple, (cream), Karl Rosnefield, (cerise), Coral Charm, (coral), Red Charm, (burgandy), Pink Panther, (mid pink), Duchesse de Nemours, (white) and Louis Van Houtte, (mauve).

The Peony is available on the wholesale markets from May through to end of July. Any peonies available after the end of July will not be great quality & will probably be expensive because of the short supply coming into auction.

Vintage Wedding Flowers - What are they?

Well, all this means is an old fashioned country garden effect really! Big blousey roses, peonies, delphinium. larkspur, veronika, aster, alchemilla mollis etc are all selling in large quantities. The most popolar roses by far are avalanche white, sweet avalanche pink, faith lilac & cool water lilac. Again the most popular peonies are Sarah Bernhardt pale pink and Duchess de Nemours ivory. Stocks and alstroemeria are also in larger demand this year for weddings.
