Smithers Oasis Introduce New Pedestal Block

Smithers Oasis have intoduced a new Pedestal Block to the floral market. It is a single piece of floral foam designed to fit directly into plastic pedestal bowls. It is quicker to soak, place in the bowl and tape.

The block's size is 17 x 17 x 15cm and can be used in both small and large bowls. The simple fact that the cutting down of wet bricks to fit will be a thing of the past in turn means cutting down on wastage.

Because the block is a single piece of floral foam it supports the flower stems much better than taping bits of floral foam together and ensures that water is transported up the stems correctly and consistantly. Pedestal Blocks are also manufactured in the UK!
